२/२ मिलने की आस में जब राह पर नजरें टिकाते हैं, और हर पल के इंतजार से फिर व्याकुल होते जाते हैं, एक आकस्मिक सी मुलाकात से हम पुलकित हो जाते हैं पर इंकार की दिल्लगी से गहरा रास रचाते हैं आंखों में पिरोकर हर एक जज़्बात जब हम दीदार किए जाते हैं, संशय और हया के बंधन से जब निरंतर लड़ते जाते हैं होती है तब खामोशियों में भी मीठी सी झंकार हर पल और दोनो दिलों में रहता है बेसब्री का आलम पल पल... इसी तरह हम रोज रोज स्वप्नों में विचरण कर आते हैं, और बिन आहट एक भली सुबह हम इश्क में खुद को पाते हैं! 1/२ इश्क में पड़ना मुश्किल थोड़ी होता है, ये तो चुपके से दिल में घोंसला संजोता है! किसी शाम जब नींद में किसी से फोन पर बतियाते हैं, या फिर हंसते हुए किसी से हम जाने क्यों नजरें मिलाते हैं, बेवजह किसी को छेड़ के हम जब मंद मंद मुस्काते हैं, या पढ़ के उसके संदेश हम गीत कोई गुनगुनाते हैं! थम सी जाती है जब धड़कन किसी की आहट से, या गुदगुदी सी उठती हैं किसी खास की चाहत से देख के जब चेहरा कोई हम खुद में खुश हो जाते हैं, पहरों पहर जब हम यादों में दिन बिताए जाते हैं, सोच के उसकी छोटी ही कोई बात, हम जब खुद में ही शरमाते हैं, या उनके एक एक अल्फाज को कंठस्थ करते जाते हैं देख के कोई तस्वीर किसी खास की, जब हम अनगिनत सपने सजाते हैं, और होकर बावरे बस उसकी ओर खिंचे चले जाते हैं, (-छवि सक्सेना)

A self absorbed person could shower you with all the attention and pampering you need and a dramatic turn of events could bring forth the ultimate romance that we all at some point crave for! It's amazing how one your lost memories stays so clearly etched in someone else's mind. A day totally lost in your thoughts might have stayed alive in another's grey area long after it has passed. Maybe one of your smiles, a rather gluing glance or simply a shrug of you shoulder could stay with someone for a long long while! Sometimes even the memory of your perfume/cologne, a shared commute or simply a slight brushing of shoulders or arms as you stood/sat side by side could make them slip back to that time. Even more rivetting can be a memory of a chance eye-lock, a nervous fumbling or a shared meal from across the table! DAWN DIARIES: Just as a casual finger crawls forth to graze the dorsal side of the hand right next to you, and as if drawn by instinct or reflex, the palm turns over, lingering the luring touch! Oh it's crazy how your heart skips a beat as someone's fingers intertwine with thine, clasping whole of your shy, shivering, hesitating palm and ever so slowly owning it up and placing the intermeshed hand duo on the chest, with dreamy drowsy eyes interlocked all this while... Shoulders, mere inches apart under a blanket, carefully struggling with the proximity within, when a brief moment where your hand can actually feel the warmth from over the shirt, and sense the heightened throbbing of the heart within! Emotions stirred up...the mind all clouded...A sudden alarm and the trance is ousted! PS: This might merely be a literary work of my creative imagination or perhaps not, however any resemblance is purely intentional!😉 ©Chavi Saxena

रख दिया है तुम्हारे इश्क़ को अब, किसी पुरानी किताब में महकते गुलाब की तरह! कि अब जब बरसों बाद भी मिलोगे, तो चेहरे पर मीठी मुस्कान ले आओगे-(2) और ले आओगे साथ कुछ यादें, मुलाक़ातें, जो अधूरी ही रह गयी थीं किसी रोज़! कुछ फूलों को नसीब होती हैं इत्र की शीशियां, तो कुछ को पन्नों के मध्य छुपकर खुद बन जाना होता है इत्र, जो जब-तब यादों के सिलसिलों से जीवन को महकाते रहते हैं और खुद बेरंग और कठोर होकर भी कोमल जज़्बातों को ज़हन में पिरोते रहते हैं! कभी खोली अगर वापस वो किताब हमने, तो बेशक तुम वहीं कहीं मिलोगे, और ये आंखें शायद बेहद नम हो जाएंगी, जब फिरसे तुम हमको बाहों में ले लोगे! -छवि

From a faraway city, comes freely flowing, some memories my way...this day! Cold winds, shivering breaths and a ride down those snakey hilly terrain... Darkness of the night, thrill of drizzling rain and maybe a hint of snowflakes even... Palms clutched onto riders' shoulders, teeth clenched with cold inside a muffler... Words still crystal clear in my ears, like dew drops in a dreamland picture... How close, yet not so close, How cold, yet not so cold... We hang on like parakeets dodging winter! A turbulence inside the bosom... subdued by restraint n thoughtful rerun! Though something sure did move, And the flutters not merely a fool's fun! The awkward silences that follow, Those supressed shy smiles we swallow, Enough to set forth an amorous session, And lure you with an unsaid confession! Such is the nature of memories...
