What else could better show your existence?
Than the very first teeny heartbeat of yours,
A pure joy of a new life to engross,
Verily! With no boundaries across!

A gladness with you growing in me
Feeling the little punches and kicks
Something which none could defeat
Was the pleasure seeing your tiny hands and feet!

That anxiety for not seeing you
Turned a sigh of relief after hearing you
With two hearts pit-a-pat in a sole body,
A cherished marvel within itself to embody!

Those tiring times changed to an ecstasy,
Here’s your baby! When it was all heard,
For your first cry, your first time in my arms,
Each drop of tear rolling down thanks the Almighty!

With you beside day and night, holding your little finger,
Watching you cooing and playing
The little smile with cuteness loaded,
Nothing more can anyone ask instead!

Being a mother! A truly wonderful journey,
None can it be compared with,
Every mother is surely blessed,
Motherhood! What a beautiful thing to be possessed!

Traffic! Every Bengalurean's pain
At times gets tough and insane

Having no choice but to travel
Reaching on time seems a battle

At times pizzas get delivered in traffic
Something positive when it gets terrific

Not to talk about patience
You definitely need it, in abundance

Getting through the busy lanes
Is not the real art

Buffering time to and fro
Makes you really smart

Next time you are stuck
Remember, not to give a damn
Coz..it's Bengaluru's signature Traffic Jam!!!

My Winter Poem

Day light savings end
And I know you arrived
With all the meetings
Getting pushed an hour beside

With the chill weather
Often taking us for a ride
Getting out of cozy blanket
Is a herculean pride

With every sip of
Hot and comforting tea
I end up wanting more,
One...two or probably three?

The long resting jackets and thermals
In the dark little corner of closet
Finally getting off
Only to find themselves ill-fit

Feels good sometimes
And at times awful
Getting to experience extreme
Definitely is...not so joyful!
