She gives me something nobody else can,
I crave her when she is not there,
I miss playing with her hair,
I yearn for her soft spoken lips,
To tell me she loves me,
And to savour a kiss,
I'm counting the seconds until I see her again,
The owner my desires,
The face I see in dreams,
The booster of my self esteem,
The universal gave me her as a gift,
The best one I could of been handed,
My heart was a runway upon which she landed.

I created a room,
Where only I can go,
It's in my head and nobody knows,
A space where life is real,
Not a fabrication,
With images of heart felt moments,
Stories from family that will never be forgotten,
Detailed conversations where I remember every line,
The person talking may be gone,
But in that room everything feels fine,
I like to go there when I'm feeling low,
It brings me joy,
It keeps me hanging in,
It's fills the void that was pierced in my heart,
It's a room I believe everyone should create,
To help them feel at ease,
When all they want to do is detest,
Within the room,
You feel the love,
The intense embrace of the dearly departed hugs,
The resonance of their hearty laugh,
The beam on their face,
You can taste the flavor of their perfume,
The imprint they made upon your life,
This little room is where I can visit,
To give me peace when I have reached my limit,
To give me the courage to fight off anxiety,
Help my consciousness give my thoughts variety,
And give me the stability in my time of inadequacy,
A couple of minutes in there can change your mindset,
And give you what your looking for whilst everywhere else you looked you couldn't seem to find it.

Fuck fitting in,
I love being weird,
Yet I dont have piercings or a big bushy beard,
I listen to heavy metal,
I scream at the top of my lungs,
I bang on my walls using them as drums,
I read science fiction,
Its my guilty pleasure,
I love the Joker played by heath ledger,
I love staying up till the sun rises,
Watching scary movies full of spectacular surprises,
Fuck fitting in,
I don't want to be conditioned,
I want to think for myself,
How to cook in a kitchen,
I don't want my choices to be made by someone else,
I want my mind to determine for me what is best,
I love being weird,
Googling fuck up shit,
Like how Ted Bundy nearly got away with it,
To be the same as everyone else,
Is a shame to you and your mental health,
Be inquisitive,
Be quirky,
Love life,
Be guilty,
Fuck what people say,
Be your own,
Don't be anothers,
Unless your both the same,
And live together as lovers.

My mother was there,

Then she went,

She left this world,

Yet she gave me strength,

Forever in my heart is where she will be,

I miss her dearly,

She was everything to me,

Too young to go,

She left too soon,

It broke my heart when she died in that room,

As time went on I learned to grow,

The woman was my hero,

She taught me everything I know,

Trips to Wexford,

Flights to Spain,

Yet she made sure I had every PlayStation game,

From meatloaf dinners and one sided toast,

My mother was the one I loved the most,

Now she is resting,

As her time was up,

Still I will always remember my mother the nut.

We hold a smile like a candle holds its flame,

So powerful it could burn down a home,

We hide behind the smile when we are around friends or family,

Alone on our own is when we break down,

We dont want to move,

We want to stay still,

Our mind is in kill mode,

The grip of societies demands,

Has taken its toll,

We must not give a fuck what people think,

We are our own priority,

Fuck birthdays,

Fuck christmas,

Fuck the job you hate,

Dealing with pricks for buttons,

Allow your thoughts to become your own,

do what you want for yourself,

Don't try to please others,

Don't be peer pressured into going where you dont wanna go,

The brilliance you possess,

Can spur you on when times are hard,

Move on get better,

Be humble,

Not smug,

But dont allow yourself to be sucked into the cauldron of culture we have no interest in,

Be brave in your decision making,

Love your family,

Love your life because you only get one,

Make it count and be remembered for something you would be proud of,

Not remembered for being a coward and taking the untroublesome way out.

Your stomach in knots,

You hold your arms up for the picture,

Your body in distress,

The butterflies in your tummy,

Rollercoaster rides that make you want to scream for your mummy,

Twists and turns at every corner,

As the ride moves on you feel stronger,

You want to take on every plunge,

There is no place you want to hide,

You want to feel the thrills and the emotion,

From the highest point,

To the lowest arch,

They make you feel ecstatic,

They have your mind traumatic,

A rush of adrenaline fills your body,

Still the after effects make you feel like a zombie,

Holiday trips to disney & universal,

The memories made will last forever,

As the excitement of travel has you dreaming of your next endeavor,

Rollercoasters make you feel alive,

Nevertheless when sit in one,

You don't think your going to survive.

The mind can be an unforgiving dwelling,

Home to opinionated contemplation,

One day your content,

Next day your irascible,

Each person you meet is on the end of your hissy fits,

You can't get over the fact people judge your actions,

When it's not their business,

Who are they to tell you how to live,

Yet you have no control over the words you speak to them,

Everything you spit is venom,

Your a deserted human being,

Cast aside like the fat off a piece of meat,

You will not allow anyone to enter your arms,

Your gates are higher than mountains,

Search within to find the reason,

Lower your guard,

If you can't love yourself,

Nobody will love you,

Your mind must overcome the trauma,

That has caused your disgust at the world,

Not everyone is the same,

Some do want to bring you to a better locality,

Mentality and physically,

Allow someone in to manage your mental state,

Pave roads for you,

Bring you to destinations that wore never available on your map,

When you do this,

Your eyes will be open to the world of love,

The world of rapture and gratification,

To be of sound mind,

To be of sound heart,

Conquer your mind,

Don't let it tear you apart.

I turn over in the bed in which you are no longer lying,

I smell the sheets and savour your scent,

It's been a month and my heart feels nothing but torment,

My feet feel grounded in cement,

I have to turn around my slow descent,

The hill is long and I've to climb back up,

I know it's what you would want,

For me to carry-on even if it's a struggle,

No longer a married couple,

Alone in my empty bed with no one to cuddle,

Drowning in a puddle of my own tears,

Nobody to talk about my fears,

Sorrow is all I feel,

With your love in my heart,

I'll try to be better,

To beat this storm of heartache,

You left me like an earthquake,

Now I've to build back up the mountain,

Devastated is what I am,

I will be coming out the other end

A more humble and recovered man.
