మనకి వచ్చిన దరిద్రం ఇదేరా... ఉండాల్సినంత ఛాయిస్ లేదు. ఇద్దరే కాండిడేట్లు. గుడ్డికంటే మెల్ల మేలనుకోవాలా?

మనము CM ని, PM ని ఎన్నుకోలేము, కేవలం మన ప్రతినిధిని మాత్రమే ఎన్నుకోగలం, అదే ఒక మంచి వాడిని మన MLA గా, MP గా నిలబెట్టుకుందాం అనే అవగాహన మన జనాలకి లేదు.

గవర్నమెంట్ అంటే ఏందో తెలియని జనాలు గవర్నెన్స్ అంటే ఏందో తెలియని వాళ్ళని ఓట్లతో గెలిపించి, ఐదేండ్లలో ఒకసారి ప్రతి ఐదేండ్లకి ఒకసారి, ప్రతి సారీ ఐదేండ్లు మోసపోతూనే ఉండేలాగా ఓటు వేసి వస్తారు.

అది పదవి కాదు- బాధ్యత, అది అధికారం కాదు- దేశభక్తి నిరూపించుకునే అవకాశం, అది డబ్బులు సంపాదించే మాధ్యమం కాదు- సమాజానికి పట్టిన జబ్బులు నయం చేసే సాధనం అని భావించే వాళ్ళని జనం ఎన్నుకోవాలి.

గద్దె ఎక్కించే అధికారం ప్రజలకి ఎలాగ ఉందో, తప్పు చేసేవాళ్ళని, అధికార దుర్వినియోగం చేసేవాళ్ళని దించేసే రీకాల్ (Recall) అధికారం కుడా ప్రజలకి ఉండాలి. అప్పుడే ఈ గణతంత్ర రాజ్యంలో అసలైన జనతంత్రం వస్తుంది.
