खुद से बातें करते हुए दिन गुजारने की आदत सी हो गई। खुद से सवाल कर के उसी की खोज में समय काटने की आदत सी हो गयी। कहाँ गए वो हँसी, पहले तो ऐसा नहीं था, हंसना तो छोड़िए, बिना मुस्कुराए कितने दिन बीत गए। सुबह की इन्तजार में हुंं, रात इतनी लम्बी क्यों हो गई, सोना तो छोड़िए, आँख बंद किये बिना कितने रात गुजर गए। इतना सन्नाता क्यू है, क्या सारी दुनिया सो गई, दूसरों की छोड, अपनी ही आवाज़ न सुन कर कई दिन गुजर गए। वक्त वक्त की बात है उठना गिरना तो हमेशा चलता रहेगा, गिरोगे नहीं तो उठोगे कैसे, यह समय की मांग है, मैं समय के साथ चलता रहूंगा। बहुत हुआ सवाल अब और नहीं, अब किसी चीज की मांग नहीं, चेहरे पर एक मुस्कान वापस आए, इससे ज्यादा और कुछ नहीं। जिंदगी मे हर वक्त, समय चुपचाप मेरे कानों पर कुछ कहता रहा, लेकिन हमें सुनने की आदत कहाँ, हम तो बस सवाल ही करता रहा । आज मिला वक़्त मुझे जिंदगी की हर एक शब्द समझने को, चेहरे पर एक मुस्कान ही सबसे बड़ी तोहफा है अपनी जिंदगी बिताने को। ©N.
