बच्चे की भूख जगह-जगह दर-दर भटकते थे लोग अकसर हमें पागल कहां करते थे क्या कहें हम आपसे जनाब हम तो मोहब्बत की बीमारी से बीमार थे ना मंजिल ना रास्ते का पता हम तो चलते चले जा रहे थे इन अजनबीराहों पर अचानक एक बच्चा मेरे कदमों में आ गया उसको देख डर जरूर गए पर,उस बच्चे ने हमारा नजरिया ही बदल दिया ना बदन पर कपड़ा ना खाने को रोटी फिर भी आंखों में गज़ब की चमक थी हमने उसको खाना खिलाया और फिर उसने हमें बताया रोज लड़ता हूं ,भीख मांगता हूं पर फिर भी रोज भूखा ही सोता हूं तब पता चला हमें की हमने तो खुद कहीं मोहब्बत की राहों में खो ही दिया था उस मासूम बच्चे की मासूमी ने बताया कि दुख और भी है ज़माने में मोहब्बत के दुख के सिवा जब बच्चे की भूख को राहत मिली तो पता चला राहतें और भी हैं जमाने में वस्ल की राहत के सेवा फिर क्या! रास्ता मोड़ा नया खोजा जिसकी मंजिल तो है पर कारवां कहां अब तो यही सोचते हैं दिन-रात कि हम भी कभी हिस्सा थे उस कारवां का बच्चे की भूख
