Amidst all the chaos that chorused in unison Amidst all the chill that cascaded the lane Amidst all the colours that captured the view She was there, with chin on her hand She was there, snowed up by heavy thoughts She was there, muffled in her favourite colour Oh yes! It was winter And her day was as harsh as the weather She was invited by confusions and sadness As if they agreed to intrude her at once But she couldn’t even beat the cold How would she beat those troubles? Now ruffling her feathers And then she found her sad pen And she decided to delight her pen But sadly this time, She had only sad things to write.
