I really don't know when each woman would speak for a woman in India,when men would really grow a brain rather than pampering your small brother (I hope you have this much brain to understand this), when mother-in-law's would say happily, "am glad to have a Lakshmi", not demand for an abortion or curse them for a girl child. But standing in today's world, being a girl, having a mother I feel the pain of being a girl and the pain of a mother or a father having a daughter in this country. Where society raises voice for a girls marriage(as soon as they step 18yrs, irrespective of whether they're educated) but no voice for her marital rape(just considering rape as an epidemic in India). I know even such writings or millions of articles like this will never change a single mind, because the men(mostly) in this country enjoy the pain a woman goes through (referring to the specific movies like Mom, Angry Indian goddesses, where the men enjoy the girl screaming out of pain). Such country will never change even in upcoming decades, because these are concepts that came out of patriarchy, and concepts never change. This country is no longer great, except for in the pages of history, because this country feeds on the business of religion that has fear and Indians are cowards. #Wake up, it's high time.
