एक दिवाली कुछ ऐसी भी हो

जहाँ रौशन करें हम किसी अँधेरे घर में एक चिराग़ ,
कहीं पूरा करें हम किसी गरीब का एक छोटा सा ख़्वाब ,
एक दिवाली ऐसी भी हो जिसमें न करें हम पर्यावरण ख़राब ,
इनायत करें कुछ ऐसा जिस्से उज्जवल हो किसी और का भी मेहताब |

कुछ मिठास हम अपने विचारों में भी लाएं ,
चाइना लाइट की जगह उस गरीब का बना दिया भी जलाएं ,
समझदारी की झलक थोड़ी बिजली बचा कर भी लाएं ,
मिठायों की जगह गरीबों की दुवाएं भी आएं ,
जीवन में कुछ दिवाली ऐसी भी मनाएं |

मोमबत्ती की तरह भी इस जीवन का कुछ हिस्सा हो ,
खुद जलकर थोड़ी रौशनी दूसरों को भी दो ,
पिघल कर बिखर भी गए तो गम न हो ,
बस कुछ सांसें किसी और के नाम भी हो ,
एक दिवाली कुछ ऐसी भी हो |

खुद की तलाश

तू थोड़ा सा और सब्र कर ले,
इम्तिहान अभी जारी है,
तेरा भी एक दिन समय आएगा,
और तू कहेगा अब मेरी बारी है।

उफनते समंदर सा आक्रोश,
और शांत लहरों सी शालीनता,
कब कौन सी प्रकृति हो ,
ये कौन है जानता।

कोई राह मंजिल तक ले जाए,
और कोई मंज़िल से दूर,
अंधेरों में भी कभी टटोल कर देखो,
क्या पता वहीं हो तेरा नूर ।

मुखोटों के पीछे रहकर पहचान न बना,
हमेशा तू अधूरा पाएगा खुदको,
आइने के सामने तो आ,आँखें तो मिला,
क्या पता कहीं तो ढूंढ ले खुदको ।

लम्हों का गुलाम

आज कुछ लम्हे जो मेरे गुलाम है,
कल क्या पता मैं उन्हीं का गुलाम बन जाऊं,
जिंदगी की ये जो असमंजस है,
सुलझाते सुलझाते ही कही मौन न हो जाऊ।

क्या सही क्या गलत,
ये तय करते करते भी लोग खो जाते हैं,
अपनी पहचान बनाने में,
कुछ अपनो को ही खो देते हैं।

आज किसी के पास लम्हों की जागीर है,
तो कल वो उन्हीं को तलाशता फकीर हैं,
जो कद्र कर सके हर लम्हों की,
वही सच्चा अमीर है ।

When a Masculine heart beats ...

We are fragile but pretends to look tough,

We portray that we are strong when the days are extremely rough.

Sometimes our cries are wrapped and muffled,

Yes, there are times when we are completely muddled.

We too sacrifice a lot under the unrealistic expectation,

After all we are the so-called macho as per the vague tradition.

Somewhere the gender equality needs a revision,

So that we may get fair and social remuneration.

We tan under the societal and family responsibility,

That is where lies the false fidelity and dignity.

Just say no to all illogical masculine philosophy,

Live your life the way you want and be happy.

Only a third of men say they ever share their true feelings,

They also face mental challenges and are already reeling.

Three-fourth suicide constitutes men, and it holds a deep meaning,

Many are depressed, lonely and the data is quite chilling.

Try to learn, love, and listen them with compassion,

That is the proper way to reconciliation and remediation.

Let us not delay anymore and end their trepidation,

As they are equally emotional as the female population.

SHE AND I

She talks to me and I carefully listen,
There is always some kind of transmission,
We sit together for the long conversation,
And she always needs my undivided attention.

She takes me to the different worlds,
Where my imagination and capacity unfolds,
To my surprise there's a teasure trove full of gold,
Hold on ! It can't be sold.

She is lively and has a glittering smile,
We sometimes travel to distant Isle.
The lush green scenery and the freshness,
Often enthralls me and strengthen our togetherness.

She is indelible and has an immortal look,
And she never enjoys to remain in the nook,
She's is tempting and catches me with the hook,
Don't think otherwise, it's the beauty of reading a book

THE EPHEMERAL LIFE

Things we love are like leaves of tree,
A gust of wind set them free,
It fall down and wither,
Motherland embrace them and it disappears.

We all are short lived and perishable,
Give up anger, jealousy and be ammiable.
Do not entangled in worldly pleasures,
Relax, calm and maintain a kind gesture.

Desires and pleasures are not the problem,
Enjoy it but don't get enslaved by them.
Nature is fleeting, changeable and imperfect,
Cultivate wisdom and act.

Present moment will never be repeated,
Make it worthwhile and just don't be seated.
The unexpected happens , sooner or later,
Accept it with grace and life shall be better.

खुद की तलाश में निकला मुसाफिर हूं मैं ,
अगणित मोड़ पे दिशा निर्धारित करता राहगीर हूं मैं ।

ऊबड़ खाबड़ पथ को समतल करता,
जिंदगी की बेरुखी को तराशता शिल्पकार हूं मैं ।

अंधेरी रातों में उजाले को तलाशता हूं मैं,
कुछ कहे अनकहे उलझनों की दास्तां हूं मैं ।
