Once upon a time (This is a true story)

Once upon a time, there was a dog
He was a Rottweiler, strong but gentle
He loved his tennis balls he chewed
It kept his jaws in shape, he was special

One day it was the dog, my cousin and I
Casually walking along the lake in winter
The water was frozen around the shore
Where we stood it was much thinner

My cousin decided to throw a snowball
He threw it and it landed on the thin ice
My dog, who was unleashed, ran after it
After getting the snowball, he payed the price

He fell through the cracking ice and went in

Luckily my cousin was thinking, slowly he went
Laying down to spread his weight, got the hound

Pulling him up from the water, safely and quickly
