We don’t know who time will bring into our lives, We don’t know the inner world of the guest who arrives. As their importance grows in the toil of our thoughts, Respect for experiences with them also grows. The conversations we have turn into memories. We don’t know if fate will guide the path with them or not, But in that companionship, trust becomes the foundation of longing. In the journey we take from somewhere, step by step, there are footprints alongside ours. If the purpose of time is to make that bond last forever, The inspiration for that comes from within the heart. White I walk alone clasping two little hands, A fury of events, And ...... we were left with none ! Two pairs of eyes Gave me all the comfort..... One black , One grey And ..... together we built a fort. The walls were made of love and happiness, It got bombed with docs and numbness!! Now that I clasp only one for the grey is nowhere My little one shields me as sobs knock the blare. I sneak through days and nights alike praying to heavens to keep your smile bright.
