When you think that you are the doer When you believe in your strength In the strength of others to see you through God silently moves away and You are left alone on your feet How can you pray, how can you seek God's Mercy, And ask for his intervention When you feel you and your surroundings Are capable enough? Believe yourself But act at His behest, not as the master But as a servant. Live for Him Let He be in your every breath Be in your eyes, ears And senses of perception Let your dreams and dramas Action, wishes and accomplishments Are at His lotus feet Love Him like the Gopis Have the patience and faith of Sabari and Prahalad Pray with devotion like Dhruba.
