یہ میری غزلیں یہ میری نظمیں تمام تیری حکایتیں ہیں یہ تذکرے تیرے لطف کے ہیں یہ شعر تیری شکایتیں ہیں میں سب تری نذر کر رہا ہوں یہ ان زمانوں کی ساعتیں ہیں جو زندگی کے نئے سفر میں تجھے کسی وقت یاد آئیں تو ایک اک حرف جی اٹھے گا پہن کے انفاس کی قبائیں اداس تنہائیوں کے لمحوں میں ناچ اٹھیں گی یہ اپسرائیں مجھے ترے درد کے علاوہ بھی اور دکھ تھے یہ مانتا ہوں ہزار غم تھے جو زندگی کی تلاش میں تھے یہ جانتا ہوں مجھے خبر تھی کہ تیرے آنچل میں درد کی ریت چھانتا ہوں مگر ہر اک بار تجھ کو چھو کر یہ ریت رنگ حنا بنی ہے یہ زخم گلزار بن گئے ہیں یہ آہ سوزاں گھٹا بنی ہے یہ درد موج صبا ہوا ہے یہ آگ دل کی صدا بنی ہے اور اب یہ ساری متاع ہستی یہ پھول یہ زخم سب ترے ہیں یہ دکھ کے نوحے یہ سکھ کے نغمے جو کل مرے تھے وہ اب ترے ہیں جو تیری قربت تری جدائی میں کٹ گئے روز و شب ترے ہیں وہ تیرا شاعر ترا مغنی وہ جس کی باتیں عجیب سی تھیں وہ جس کے انداز خسروانہ تھے اور ادائیں غریب سی تھیں وہ جس کے جینے کی خواہشیں بھی خود اس کے اپنے نصیب سی تھیں نہ پوچھ اس کا کہ وہ دوانہ بہت دنوں کا اجڑ چکا ہے وہ کوہ کن تو نہیں تھا لیکن کڑی چٹانوں سے لڑ چکا ہے وہ تھک چکا تھا اور اس کا تیشہ اسی کے سینے میں گڑ چکا ہے ©Kalaam rahi Ahmad Faraz ki NAZAM

یہ میری غزلیں یہ میری نظمیں
تمام تیری حکایتیں ہیں
یہ تذکرے تیرے لطف کے ہیں
یہ شعر تیری شکایتیں ہیں
میں سب تری نذر کر رہا ہوں
یہ ان زمانوں کی ساعتیں ہیں
جو زندگی کے نئے سفر میں
تجھے کسی وقت یاد آئیں
تو ایک اک حرف جی اٹھے گا
پہن کے انفاس کی قبائیں
اداس تنہائیوں کے لمحوں
میں ناچ اٹھیں گی یہ اپسرائیں
مجھے ترے درد کے علاوہ بھی

ہزار غم تھے جو زندگی کی
تلاش میں تھے یہ جانتا ہوں

وہ جس کے جینے کی خواہشیں بھی
خود اس کے اپنے نصیب سی تھیں
نہ پوچھ اس کا کہ وہ دوانہ
بہت دنوں کا اجڑ چکا ہے
وہ کوہ کن تو نہیں تھا لیکن
کڑی چٹانوں سے لڑ چکا ہے
وہ تھک چکا تھا اور اس کا تیشہ
اسی کے سینے میں گڑ چکا ہے
