Par mein khush hu ye aadat zada purani nehi ho payi.. Bas kuch hi haftoo ki ye aadat pata nehi kyun ab jaise saloon purani lagti mujhe.. Kavi paglo jaise puchti tumhe 'kya hum thik kar rahe hein' jawab jaise mujhe pata tha.. Phir v usse sunna ek sukun tha.. Jaise kisi ghaon mein marham.. Par pata kaha tha.. Aadate vulana itna aasan nehi hota... Tum samjhte bas kuchi hi dino ki to hein ye adat.. Chut jayegi.. Mein tumhri awaaz ko jaise bare dhyan se sunti aur man mein hi bolti kaash tum saamjh pate ye aadat nehi zaroorat hein meri.. Pata hein mujhe tumhe pinjre mein rakh nehi sakti.. Why the obsession with scars, you ask? Writing about scars is a cliché, you say? Oh dear, I must have you know this: I set on writing about wars, the bloodshed, the fading armies, conquering territories, conquests, a so called 'triumph' with no survivors. Then it dawned on me that wars left no trails, save those scars. If ever wars made a mark in history, it was the scar they left behind. I couldn't fight wars, I couldn't conquer territories. So, I'll write about scars, and conquer my insecurities. On clichés and yes, scars. Stars above and scars within. I look up to the former, I delve into the latter. #YQBaba #Scars
