New Year 2025 New Years Eve 2024

Just a few hours from now is midnight
Another year will have passed us by
New members to the family arrived
Others have passed which made us cry

Traffic is scarce
Christmas Eve
Opening of presents
A gift to receive

Families gather
They reminisce
Talk of the future
And exchange gifts

Holidays are great
A short work break
Catch up some
No need to wake

Bond with family
Spend time with pets
Start a new hobby
Satisfaction you get

One more year down
One more year taken
Countdowns begun
