EMPOWERMENT Shirley Chisholm said that,"If they don't give you seat at the table, bring a folding chair". Do you get what really means here? It means that if an opportunity doesn't come to you, you have to make one for yourself. No one else would make it for you. You and only you are responsible for your development. One can support you but only you have to work on yourself! In our society nowadays, many steps are being taken for empowerment of girls or women whether it is any field. Women keep on saying that,"we can do anything that men do"but men should also be saying that,"we can do anything that a woman can do!" But how does this become true? Have you ever wondered about it? How does a society that consist both men and women only become a men dominant society?What's the reason? The reason is the women itself. Women nowadays have realized what are they in real means!no doubt that this society would take some time to accept changes in it. But yeah we can hope for a better opportunity for all of us. Women have to believe in themselves. Nobody would say that yes you can do this job. It's only she who can motivate herself to speak what she is facing, what she is demanding, what she dreams, what she wants and only she can decide and achieve her goals by believing in herself.
