And as I depart to the great unknown, Let my dreams and ambitions be shown. Let my desires live on, And let them find a new home In the hearts of those I've touched, And in the minds of those I've taught. Let my legacy be remembered, And let my life have meaning, Let the flame of my ambition, Be ignited in the heart of my successor's mission, May my light forever shine, And inspire greatness divine, In the one who takes my place, And fulfil their destiny with grace. So if I die tomorrow, don't you cry, For I'll be soaring high, in the sky. लगता नहीं है दिल मेरा उजड़े दयार में किसकी बनी है आलमे- नापायदार में बुलबुल को बाग़मा से न सैयाद से गिला किस्मत में कैद लिखी थी, फसले बहार में इन हसरतों से कह दो कहीं और जा बसे इतनी जगह कहां है दिले- दागदार में ईक शाखे- गुल पे बैठ के बुलबुल है शादमा कांटे बिछा दिए हैं दिले -लालहजार में उम्रे-दराज मांग के लाए थे चार दिन दो आरजू में कट गए तो इंतजार में दिन जिंदगी के खत्म हुए शाम हो गई फैला के पांव सोएंगे कुंजे-मजार में कितना है बदनसीब जफर दफन के लिए दो गज जमीन भी ना मिली कुएं-यार में -बहादुर शाह ज़फ़र ©Deeksha Pilania #collection from bahadur shah jafar writings #life #historical urdu poetry
