5 WTF snaps from the Comedy Animal Photo Awards
The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards (yes, that's a thing) are back once again, showcasing candid shots of the funniest critters on the World Wild Web.
So good are some of these snaps, it's almost as if the animals knew the brief. From peekaboo eagles to ballet-dancing ants, and friendly polar bears to snowball-flinging monkeys, the most comedic scenes from the animal kingdom are all here.
Kick-started last year to help raise cash and awareness for conservation efforts in a lighthearted way, you can enjoy a handful of 2016's funniest shots below before heading over to the CWPA website to LOL at the rest of the entries
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a 'peli-can't catch a fish to save his life'

100APC#12 Skeksie D/C
I had been playing D&D most of that day with some of my oldest friends. People I have been playing D&D with since I was 13, people I shared my first theater experiences with, people I performed in the Austin comedy clubs with.
That evening we took a break from the gaming table and went to down town Austin to The Hideout Theatre and watched this awesome show called "Savage Swords" it was an improv show based on the stories and style of Robert E Howard. It was awesome.
We were laughing during intermission as AC/DC was playing over the speakers in the lobby. I started joking that Bryan Johnson, the singer from AC/DC, sounds like a skeksie from that movie "The Dark Crystal." Thus the idea of Skeksie DC was born. I laughed about for many days afterwards. So when I was finally sitting down to paint, this was the result.
I keep seeing some buzz about a sequel of the Dark Crystal is coming out. I can only hope the skeksies break out into a savage version of Thunderstruck.
Thanks for reading.
