White A LOOK AT LIFE-144 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY NOTHING IS OVER Nothing is over. The best part is yet to come Just motivate yourself. Forget not! how precious this human is? You have a lot of life left in you. Still left in you the desire to live Why are you in a hurry? This beautiful world is for you For you only Live before you die! Have your moments Before you call it a day You are as capable as anyone else. Have faith in your ability to live A beautiful life is ahead And you have every right to live it. Nothing is as motivating as the will And determination to live The way you want to. If not for others Live for yourself, your better half Who has been with you in rain and summer Fog and winter What matters is not age but an attitude towards life and yourself Be sure! a golden tomorrow is awaiting. Live to the full without being disturbed and Perturbed by your imagination and apprehension About what lies next Before you fade Leave your footprints on the mosaic of time Live instead of carrying a body With dead emotions and feelings With very little life and passion to live Don't kill yourself when still alive! Look at life It is the reality Death is just a moment Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #mountain A LOOK AT LIFE-144 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY NOTHING IS OVER Nothing is over. White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-159 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY LET ME SILENTLY WITHER AWAY Before someone tells me it is time and I must quit, let me leave the centre stage making space for someone more fit. Before they stop talking, let me talk to myself, listen to my voice, make me my best friend, Let me learn to keep quiet. With no takers to what I say, let me value the beauty of silence and remain within myself Let me silently wither away I know am not of any use to anyone, don't have enough strength and will to carry on my shoulder someone else. Let me accept the reality Neither I can help nor accept, nor can I teach and advise or listen to someone's idiocy and high handedness Before the world leaves me where I have been, let me withdraw from all that I loved, endured and fancied more than my love and life. Let me not forget I am still alive and someone needs me. We are to live the last part of life with ease and dignity Let me be with my love who carried my smile and tears, love and frustration over the years without caring for her own She can not see me reduced to a nonentity, a man without dreams. Let me live till I am alive with passion and dignity If not for me For someone who loves me, for whom I am larger than life and relationship. "Fading Light" Dim light, love near, silent tears fall. Half a year lost, a love's broken wall. Reaching hand, met with empty space. Her coldness, a wound on his heart's embrace. Yearning touch, a withdrawn embrace. Love's vow fades, lost in night's chase. Flickering flame, a heart's silent plea. Love once soared, now struggles to be. Desolate nights, lost in despair's hold. Love's fire wanes, a story untold. Duty binds, to hearts yet to break. Laughter's echo, for a love's sweet sake. Staying or leaving, a love's slow demise. Can hope's embers still ignite love's skies? ©Santosh Jangam #Poem The poem "Fading Light" highlights the fading of love over time and the potential for rekindling if efforts are made to nurture the re
