White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-385 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY You called me first but I came late, A hesitant reaction, cold as fate. The summer sun and winter rain, Made the flower wilt in pain. But on a spring morning, bright and clear, Golden petals of love drew near. Under the sky, so vast and blue, I fell for the flower—pure and true. My love for it knew no worldly claim, No fleeting passion, no selfish aim. I longed to see it dance with ease, In the cool breeze of eternal peace. But the flower turned its gaze away, Chasing my shadow at the break of day. Why seek the lifeless, void of grace, When vibrant beauty stood in place? And then it vanished from my view, Leaving me caught, unsure what’s true. In Trishanku's heaven, I linger and yearn, Hoping the flower, one day, will return. I hope one day you’ll open the gate, And let my vision seal its fate. I trust in my love, pure and true, To see you once more before life bids adieu. White Through winding cliffs, my footsteps fall, Chasing echoes' distant call. They dance and fade, then rise once more, A ghostly song from times before. The canyon hums with whispered past, A voice that lingers, fleeting, fast. I run, I reach, yet still they flee, Forever just ahead of me. ©Subam Deep Rasaily #chasing_echoes_in_the_canyon

a-person-standing-on-a-beach-at-sunset When the sun dips low and shadows grow, When efforts seem lost in the undertow, Remember the seeds your hands have sown— Growth is slow, but roots are shown. The sweat on your brow, the ache in your chest, Are signs of a journey that gave your best. Though storms may howl and trials stay, Your will has burned through the darkest day. Each stumble, each fall, each tear you shed, Wove a story of courage, of dreams well-fed. Regret not the hours of toil and fight, For the dawn is brighter after the night. Some may scoff, and some may doubt, But your spirit speaks louder than their shout. You dared, you climbed, you played your part— Never regret trying hard with your heart. For in every push, in each attempt, You learned, you grew, you did not relent. So wear your scars, your battles won, Proud of the person you’ve become. ©Naveen Dutt "Every effort, every scar, every step—proof that you dared to chase your dreams.
