ग़म का साया है,
अजनबी-सा कोई दर्द,
बेवजह भीतर पला है।
राहें भी चुप हैं,मंज़िलें धुंधली,
कदम रुक-रुक से,जैसे कोई थका कारवां।
आसमान बेरंग है,सितारे कहीं खो गए,
चाँदनी भी अब,अंधेरों में घुल गई है।
अश्क हैं, मगर बहते नहीं,
जख्म हैं, पर दिखते नहीं,
जैसे कोई राज़ छुपा है,
सांसों की खामोशी में।
खुशियां अधूरी,सपने बेमानी,हर चाहत जैसे
खो गई ज़िंदगी की भीड़ में।
रूह में शोर है,

कोई जवाब नहीं मिलता।
