White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-320 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Know not how to hide my tears in a smile or a smile in tears. Don't go by either. They are so incomplete, so immature to express me and my love Love does not need gestures, a body or mind to express itself An earthen pot filled with water never makes a sound so also love. Something close to love is silence. In silence love unfolds, in silence it sprouts, in silence it blooms and becomes a beautiful flower Love never asks for anything even love in return. Love makes one complete, after having it one hardly needs anything. It is a perennial stream which bathes you all through your journey from love to life and life to eternity. I am indebted to you, my love you made me complete Do not go by my tears They are tears of love and accomplishment So happy to see you moving on the right track in search of a better and more fulfilling life. Hope, soon you will be there where you want to be Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #Couple SOMETHING I LOOK AT-320 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Know not how to hide my tears in a smile or a smile in tears. White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-159 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY LET ME SILENTLY WITHER AWAY Before someone tells me it is time and I must quit, let me leave the centre stage making space for someone more fit. Before they stop talking, let me talk to myself, listen to my voice, make me my best friend, Let me learn to keep quiet. With no takers to what I say, let me value the beauty of silence and remain within myself Let me silently wither away I know am not of any use to anyone, don't have enough strength and will to carry on my shoulder someone else. Let me accept the reality Neither I can help nor accept, nor can I teach and advise or listen to someone's idiocy and high handedness Before the world leaves me where I have been, let me withdraw from all that I loved, endured and fancied more than my love and life. Let me not forget I am still alive and someone needs me. We are to live the last part of life with ease and dignity Let me be with my love who carried my smile and tears, love and frustration over the years without caring for her own She can not see me reduced to a nonentity, a man without dreams. Let me live till I am alive with passion and dignity If not for me For someone who loves me, for whom I am larger than life and relationship. White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-248 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Know not What to say? How to say I am not myself Someone else's In my heart I have very little space You will feel breathless I can not accommodate you there Just can not afford to offer you a small space When you deserve the whole of myself Know not How to reciprocate Neither age on my side Nor mindset Forgive me If you can I am not myself Someone else's Be there Where your are Shining like the morning star Be my poetry Where I truly live Love is a beautiful feeling It never needs a body or mind To express itself It is bliss and consciousness Beyond time and space Be that consciousness Be that bliss Which is more gratifying Than millions of worldly relationships. Life Like SOMETHING I LOOK AT-245 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY GOD Have you seen God? I have seen I have seen God In the smile and tears of my mother I have seen God In the sweat and blood of my father My God is not in the heaven My God is in my artery and vein My God is not in the temples Not in wholly books and scriptures My God is right in front Taking care of me My life, needs and worries Nourishing and sustaining me against all odds Without thinking They have a life of their own The unseen and infinite God Can not be like my father and mother If He is not inside them He is nowhere else Searching for God beyond one's parents Is just an attempt in vain Can anyone say My son, why are you so worried When we are here? Enjoy the nectar We will swallow the poison Can anyone live and die for you Except God? Yes only God can live and die for you God can never leave your hand Whatever may be the situation Only God can forget and forgive Your gestures, indifference, action and inaction Open your eyes God is right in front The infinite God in a finite form Your father and mother Take care Before time snatches them away forever Smruti Ranjan Mohanty© India 18.3.2023 All copyrights reserved https://smrutiweb.wordpress.com/2023/03/19/something-i-look-at-245/ https://smrutiranjanmohanty.blogspot.com/2023/03/something-i-look-at-245.html ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #Lifelike SOMETHING I LOOK AT-245 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY GOD Have you seen God?
