Losing it again Sometimes the days go on so long Memories of what we used to be Thinking to myself , where did I go wrong? You are all that I want to see Sitting and questioning , what was the issue? White Yet again, I find myself sitting under the moonlight. The same place as always, though it’s been a good while. “Good,” as I say—not pleasant, but long. A long while without the sound of your laugh, The one I still yearn to hear once more. A long while without the warmth of your amber eyes— Eyes I adored—and still do. A long while without the joy of that beautiful smile, The very first thing I ever fell in love with. A long while without you.
