"Double-Edged Screen" Our world's become a mobile screen, Where faces wear fake smiles unseen. The world unfolds in our hands' embrace, Voices connect, relationships we chase. Conversations bloom, distances shrink, Life seems joyful, on pleasure's brink. Whatever we seek, comes at our fingertips, A world of convenience, at our lips. A stream of information, at our doorstep, Bridging the gap, knowledge we grasp. Science's treasure trove, at our command, Tasks dance at our fingertips, so grand. This captivating web of fleeting joy, Will shape the future, the coming time's ploy. In knowledge's embrace, a slippery slope, Lost in the depths, our souls elope. We've become slaves to this device's sway, It's time to rein in our minds, come what may. Our lives are no longer private's domain, Relationships bear a new, strained chain. Our vision grows weaker, day by day, As screens consume our lives, come what may. We need harmony now, a balance to find, Not the fear of this illuminating bind. Young and old, hooked on this habit's snare, The social fabric, beyond repair. Impose discipline, before it's too late, Reclaim our lives, before they abate. ©Santosh Jangam #Poem Mobile phones offer connection and convenience, but overuse can strain relationships and distance us from reality. Use them mindfully

MY MOTHER-8 Today is your day my mother But with me you are no more For the first time, I am in a sea of sorrow Searching for you hither and thither Finding you nowhere except in my tears Tell me my mother! How to find those feet turned into ashes, Mingled in oblivion to offer flowers of my love. I know not whether you reciprocate My feelings, emotions and adoration But I venture to write something It has been my habit since years Let me gather you from the whole of the universe And put my heart at the feet of yours When I was a child You told me stories of the scriptures Every woman is an incarnation of the divine mother. You always insisted to see your replica in women Not to look at her with a guilty mind And faulty conscience These are your words sacred The foundation of life From which I hadly deviated Hope there will be any deviation The way you groomed your grandchildren They will carry the legacy forward With character and conviction My mother! Help me to accomplish your wishes Without Lord Krishna The Gandiva of Arjun was meaningless Bless us to renovate Our village house built on my father's sweat Serve our family deity Lord Basudev with love and devotion Gurudev and three temples built by my father great As you wished With our village, we will stay connected All the rituals and festivals will be as before All those you loved will be in my eye Leave no stones unturned to justify your blood Flowing in me Your statue will be by my father's side Where we will sit and seek your blessings Everything will be as usual But life will be never as before I know for sure You are in another form In a different dimension Merged in the divine mother Since Maa Kali has absorbed you She will be with me as my mother So also all the mothers In every nook and corner In every spring and winter Rain and summer Every day and night, minute and second I will be in the lap of you my mother divine My mother! I have seen you in all And all in you I hope my mothers all over will never let me down Bless me! I will have no problem in identifying BOU! White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-248 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Know not What to say? How to say I am not myself Someone else's In my heart I have very little space You will feel breathless I can not accommodate you there Just can not afford to offer you a small space When you deserve the whole of myself Know not How to reciprocate Neither age on my side Nor mindset Forgive me If you can I am not myself Someone else's Be there Where your are Shining like the morning star Be my poetry Where I truly live Love is a beautiful feeling It never needs a body or mind To express itself It is bliss and consciousness Beyond time and space Be that consciousness Be that bliss Which is more gratifying Than millions of worldly relationships.
