The mind’s calm voice grows soft and thin, Drowned by the storm that brews within. A tethered soul breaks loose in flight, Chasing stars in the dead of night. For when desires come into play, The world dissolves in shades of gray. A fevered dream, a hunger deep, Where thoughts lie bound, and senses leap.
