वजह सुनाऊं जिससे रुख़ मोड़ गई चाहत, हर लफ्ज़ में छुपी है दिल की वह शिकायत। वो वादे जो कभी थे आसमान से ऊंचे, धीरे-धीरे बन गए धुएं से बूझे। जो हाथ थामा था तुमने कभी, वो हाथ छूटा क्यों, पूछो अब भी। राहें जो चलती थीं साथ में हमेशा, क्यों बदल गईं वो वक्त की ये रेशा? हर बात में अब क्यों ठंडी सी खामोशी है, जहाँ हंसी थी पहले, अब क्यों उदासी है? नज़रें जो मिलती थीं चुपचाप कहने को, अब क्यों झुकती हैं दर्द सहने को? वजह है यही कि भरोसा जो टूटा, दिल ने फिर उस राह से मुंह को फेरा। चाहत ने भी अब सीख ली ये बात, जहाँ ना हो सच्चाई, वहाँ ना हो साथ। ©Balwant Mehta #Night
