White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-251 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Feel your mother I see you The way I was seeing you earlier I bathe you, feed you The way you were feeding me earlier I feel you, smell you, touch you The way I sense others I was a part of you Now you have become the whole of me When I search for you I never look outside I find you deep within You have not left me You have become me Become the beats of my heart The music of my soul The guiding force behind my action and inaction When I touch me I touch you, I touch your heart and soul For the rest of the world, you may not exist But for me, you are the only reality More real than the world I see You are in my happiness and sorrow Cheer and tear, passion and ambition You are still my teacher and mentor My loving mother I am very much part of your world Which you built on your sweat and blood You can not abandon it Can not let your child suffer Your blood cry for an ounce of love I am not orphaned Not without my earth and sky You are always with me, my mother Here and hereafter Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #Moon SOMETHING I LOOK AT-251 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Feel your mother

White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-79 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Mothers are alike. My humble regards, Pranam and Naman to all my mothers. MOTHER Mothers never die unless we let them mothers never leave us even if we drive them away mother as love, a feeling, an emotion, a blessing hangs on even after she dies only we are to keep her alive that perennial stream of love deep in our heart in our thoughts, words and deeds and let her flow in our artery and vein and bathe our body and mind again and again What can we give in return nothing whatever we are is because of she her unconditional love, affection dedication and sacrifice never force her away from your life don't deprive yourself of that heaven on earth a beggar you will be an orphan searching for an identity a beast having no human qualities. copyright@Smruti Ranjan Mohanty 3.4.2018 ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #summer_vacation SOMETHING I LOOK AT-79 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Mothers are alike. White Composed five days after the departure of my mother. MY MOTHER-5 ମୋ ବୋଉ Present too much to bear Future not in vision Past is my only resort Where lies the beauty of your touch My life and love with all its colours My mother! come near Take me in your lap Touch me, touch my body and mind Tell me a story, I will be in your land of wonder Don't leave me alone, be with me I want to bathe in your love once more I was told When I was a kid of some months and years In one side was Yama, Lord of death On the other side you my loving mother The tug of war was for years You made your days and nights speak Without caring for your bare needs The Lord of death had to run away And your unmatched love and commitment Brought me safe from the jaws of death. You were on medicine and surgery With an ailing heart and dwindling brain You had been fighting against multiple ailments For twenty-seven years You fought like a lioness against the tigress With equal ease and smile on lips In your last battle For the first time, I was not with you Is it the reason my maa For which you had given up And the Lord of death got the better of you?
