Enough nuclear warheads you have, to destroy the world many times. Why do you need more? Of what use this arms race that keeps each on their toes and let them live in perpetual terror, in constant fear of each other. Enough fortune, pelf, power and recognition you have Of what use they are if one is constantly at war with himself More happy is a contented man than a rich possessive individual, whose thirst and hunger, nothing can satisfy. Contentment is the gateway to heaven and peace opens it for one to enter into the kingdom of bliss and happiness. At the end of the day what do you need? It is peace and nothing else If you have it you are the king of what you see If you don't have it In the midst of plenty and power you are just a big nothing. PEACE AND BLISS

May be on Moon or Mars,
Jupiter or Earth,
it hardly matters where you are,
heaven or hell,
no peace,
until you are at peace with yourself
with your immediate neighbour
and the rest of the word.

No peace
until you realise,
you need it more for yourself
than anyone else.
No peace,
till nations realise
peace is the first condition of development
without which, life on earth is at stake.

Enough nuclear warheads you have,
to destroy the world many times.
Why do you need more?
Of what use this arms race
that keeps each on their toes
and let them live in perpetual terror,
in constant fear of each other.

Enough fortune,
pelf, power and recognition you have
Of what use they are
if one is constantly at war with himself
More happy is a contented man
than a rich possessive individual,
whose thirst and hunger, nothing can satisfy.
Contentment is the gateway to heaven and
peace opens it for one to enter into the kingdom of bliss and happiness.

At the end of the day
what do you need?
It is peace and nothing else
If you have it
you are the king of what you see
If you don't have it

White ଜାଣେନା, ମଣିଷ ହେଵାକୁ କେତେ ଜନ୍ମ ଲାଗେ । ଜାଣିଲେ ଅନ୍ତତଃ ମଣିଷଟେ ହେବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି। ମୋ ଚଉହଦୀର ତଥାକଥିତ ମଣିଷମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ସମ ଚେହେରା ଓ ସମ ଭାବନା ସମ ଆଵେଗ , ସମ ଦର୍ଶନ ବି ଆଵିଷ୍କାର କରେ । ଅନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ସଫଳତାରେ ସାମିଲ୍ ହେଵାକୁ କେତେ ଵର୍ଷ ଲାଗିବ ବି ଜାଣେନା । ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସୁଖଦୁଃଖର ସହଭାଗୀ ହେବା ବି ଜାଣିନି, ମୋ ସମଵେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସମୟ ଵି ଅଜଣା ମତେ, ମୋ ମାନଙ୍କୁ। A LOOK AT LIFE-131 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY THE WISEST FOOL I know not How many births I am to take to become a man. I know not Ever I will be able to realise Men to my left, to my right Behind my back and standing in front Are like me having feelings and emotions Enjoying and enduring moments As and when they come. I know not How many years I will take To enjoy other's success To be with them In their moments of sorrow and happiness. I know not Whether my love, sympathy and concern Are genuine or lip services Whether my smile is as true as my tears Whether I am true to my words and gestures Whether I am the same in thought, words and deeds. Or completely different from What I pose to be I know not When I will realise Others are no different Subject to the same pleasure and pain Like me, they feel very bad When they are hurt Like me, they smile and cry Shed tears in silence Like me, they go through phases of Pangs of sorrow, agony and distress How do I wish them to endure things Which I do not want for myself? Is it because of these I am the best creation of the Almighty? I do not know how to share Sorrow and happiness Fortune and misfortune Poverty and affluence I want everything for myself Depriving others their bare minimum I live for myself and hope Others also to live for myself That is why I am the most civilised and knowledgeable The wisest fool around.
