Oh Ariyike, You’ve made me a fool A laughing stock to all An example for those who dare tread that path Even after bringing down the heavens for you You went with the sands The ocean I brought to your doorstep You became wet when little rain poured Your legs vibrated and synced as it came hard your feet closed up and the neighbors heard Oh they heard! Lately I’ve been thinking of Samson. A dear friend, a good brother. Always looked fierce with a gentle heart and a funny accent. The only seed - the only son. Mid-term came and the sun came down on his family Israfael took joy, sadness swept over Navy Town. I remember, The days he’d try to teach me how to ride his bicycle By the roadside close to Victor’s house before Officer’s quarters. We’d go for hours, and laugh at my many falls with Tope.
