I spread my hands wide, wide enough to engulf the sky. Amidst those blue and pink lilacs lies a bird, a caged bird. Why is it caged while being flying in freedom? The wind that flows North has changed its direction, the clouds that float have started to fly off. Her wings hang between the sunrays and the light drizzling. The claws of hers have grown more dangerous. Yet, the throat shows the vulnerability of a bird, a caged bird. The lyrics of music which used to be her song now sound like knell. I was wandering here and there. Curiosity was touching the limit. If it is a girl, how would I get her married? If it is a boy, how would I get him established? I was sitting alone, waiting for the 'time'. Suddenly the hands of the clock stopped. Someone knocked at the door three times. Three uninvited guests set foot in. The first one took my name and fame. It had taken hours and hours to create. The second one took my conceit. It was created in a minute after the repute. The third one took my opportunity. It had come every second to make me grow. My heart is a withered rose. Amidst the ashen petals, lies remorse. Every time, I try to rise, I fail. I can't rise like a Phoenix from my own ash. I question myself and I answer that too. I decide to rise from between the ashes. Between the withered petals, my life blooms. It's painted, picturesque, and painted in hues. A withered rose is a new beginning out of an old ending.
