Oh! How I miss those good old school days, When we kept sadness and worries at bay, Happiness in mind,Smile on face Didn't know then,that life's a race. Careless jokes and baseless talks, Doubtful mind and unopened locks. Getting drenched in the open rain, Walking across the dirty lane. Risky love and innocent care, Staying apart the heart couldn't bare. Sorry had meaning,Thank you was rare, "Hurting a soul" did no one dare. Times changed and then we grew, Friends we had "real" but "few", "Thousands" today for times sake, "Few" real but mostly are fake. A simple "Hi" we hesitate to say, We're drifting apart each passing day, FB,Twitter and whatsapp are here Yet we're Lonely even when near, We stay close: though emotionally far, Often wondering "Where we are" Oh! How I Wish to go back in time, And experience the bright yellow sunshine, When life was easy, we lived carefree, When happiness meant to climb a Tree, Yes, I Wouldn't mind spending each penny and dime, To Relive those precious memories of mine.
