First We hesitate to ask for help even from those people we know and then when these people come asking for our help we think of them as selfish for never helping us . By the time he ask you for help, a long time has already passed when u needed help from him. And since u couldn't make your mind to ask for help, you decided to do it on your own and even did it successfully.
