It looks like midnight until we can notice the first ray of daybreak. But the background work keeps happening through what looks like midnight. We just need to be awake to witness it. Similarly, even if we think that nothing great is happening in our lives, or even when we can't see any signs of something great happening, the background work keeps happening.
