The ship moves away from the harbour, filling me with tenebrous thoughts.. More often than not, the sea is rough and hostile, but that's its nature. The ship is big but it's no match for the mighty body of water. The crew prays for safe voyage, urging the sea to be calm and friendly. (read in caption) The port disappears... and there's water everywhere... It's so familiar! I look around and the huge reservoir of salt water humbles me. A ship appears on the horizon, looking no bigger than a pin. I become aware of my own smallness in the vastness of the sea. My ship begins to roll and pitch violently but we're used to it. A cyclone warning is announced and the crew is ordered to muster. Will we weather this storm and complete the voyage? I have no answer. Just like fire, the sea can be a great servant but a ruthless master. Vulnerable and tiny we certainly are, but we won't give up.
