Today, Since morning, Black and grey clouds have crowned the sky, With heavy drizzle amidst, And sometimes, mild breeze passing by. Just like the last autumn, The shower seemed to be a little distinct, Yet, very familiar And pretty known to me. Sitting by the window, I saw a world outside Drenched in a pious darkness, Post-rain, meanwhile. Under the street lights, The moist leaves of the fern, Sparkled, dazzled and vacillated, Celebrating the rain's return. The empty road seeming to be calm, Seeming to have learnt a little more, From the short journeys; from the rain; From the breeze; from the travellers. Suddenly, the drizzle have begun, Blurring the image of my town, in front, yet once again. The ink spilled on the pages of my diary, And the moment, I lived, has turned to a poetry. A tale of autumn.
