The Waves… ( PART 1) "Don't you want to wait here before walking away?" Raj immediately turned sideways to find out who was speaking. He saw a lady in her late 20s sitting on a rock and looking at waves splashing on the shore. He looked around to see if anyone else was there. "I'm asking you only." The lady reminded him. "Yes, but how do you know my intentions?" "Because I have seen you here numerous times." She answered. "But I haven't seen you before," Raj pointed out. "That's because you keep looking at the waves, ignoring everyone passing through." She clarified and continued. "You look deep into the sea for around ten minutes before walking away. I, too, come here almost for the same reason." Raj smiled and sat on the beach, looking deep into the sea, before walking away. He looked behind him as he walked to see if the lady was still sitting on the rock. She was not there; some other people occupied the rock where she sat. He smiled and walked away.
