Woke up in this world with everyone different, Saw some people worried about future, some living in past, But no one appreciated the present. Everyone was trying so hard to be unique, And any failure told them that those chances were bleak. When I tied a cloth around my head, I was told it is of utmost importance, Learnt it later when I was made fun of in school by few ignorant peers, Read about all the sacrifices, the hardships and got rid of all my fears. Without actually explaining what exactly is it's significance, The exposure to the world brought me to the harsh realization, That even if you're unique, you'll face a lot of flak and humiliation. Did what I could at my best to understand what all religions say, And was shocked that although the rituals were different, They all stressed on being human, Much to the world's dismay.
