When the call is on and When one becomes part of yesterday Nothing is more certain Then the uncertainty of life Nothing is as true As one's poignant departure From the main theatre Nothing as deceptive as life The pathetic reality One has to go through Is it not strange We love life and live it Without knowing what death is? The saddest thing that can happen to anyone Is to fall in love with something which is not his Knowing well Nothing here is for one's possession Ono goes on accumulating Nurtures negative emotion And squanders time for nothing The most precious and limited resource Available to him. Wise and prudent To accept the reality Life is only for a while None is an exception Even the life of earth, sun and moon Are not beyond time Instead of making it a sad reality Let us live it the full Let it be a feast, a joy infinite The way the sun shines and fades to shine again And relishes everything that comes its way Life is transitory But it is the gateway To the heaven of knowledge, wisdom and bliss Let us sing the glory of life Like a bulbul in a desert.
