Stories from the forest There once was a man who lived in a forest He ate fruit and nuts and things he could forage One day he was in his house eating some porridge He thought maybe he could go on a voyage To learn things new and gain some knowledge So he packed some things in some luggage He left his forest and walked down the passage He came to a house and outside was a package On it was writing so he looked at the message On it read "please do try out this sausage" He thought maybe it would taste like cabbage So he breathed and gathered up his courage He tasted a tiny piece of the spicy linkage It was so good he devoured it like a savage He didn't think it caused any damage He put some in his bag that he could manage He left and soon he came up to a village There he met up with a lady and a carriage She yelled out like she was disparaged The man waved to show he acknowledged The woman looked parched and famished He offered water to get her replenished And some sausage to get her nourished She explained to him she was banished He stared in awe as she was distinguished She looked at him like someone she relished He offered to get her reestablished She said yes as long as your place is furnished Until this day their bond has flourished ©Schizology Stories from the forest #poem✍🧡🧡💛 #story #love
