"Drug Addiction in Kashmir:Matter of concern" From "Udhta Punjab" to "Udhta kashmir"(sorry naya kashmir).The population of drug addicts in Kashmir has surpassed the number of addicts that of Punjab.Kashmir has 2.87% of drug addicts i.e, Double % of addicts than punjab(1.2%).This data has come forth from a survey Conducted by Shere Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences(SKIMS),soura.It is reflected from the survey that a good number of women are also involved/trapped in Drug addiction.It's an alarming situation in Kashmir & it is actually Narco terrorism.GOI as well as the LG administration should take hard steps to tackle the drug peddlers,to track their route of operation and at the same time also those affected should be sent to various rehabilitation centres so that they may came out of Drug addiction.The trend of drug addiction is increasing day by day & it weakens our youth.It is a famous saying "If you have to destroy a nation so destroy the potential of its youth".The same damn thing is going on in the valley.All of us should anaylse our role in the betterment of the society that will lead to the betterment of our Nation.So,It's my humble request to each and every countrymen to counter the drug addiction at individual level & help the agencies as much as possible to eradicate this Narco Terrorism from our Land. ©Kalaam rahi An article about the current state of Drig addicts in Kashmir titled as "Drug Addiction in Kashmir: Matter of concern"
