Mindful melodies Your heartbeat was my song. The most melodious song. But the day you left. My life has been missing something. Something it didn't dream of. The song was taken away from me. Slowly, the lyrics were fading away. My heart had forgotten what music was. It went into a trance, Which I'm trying to get off from. I tried finding a new song Just to satisfy my silly mind. Mind which wanted to feel the melodies again. But, who would explain it. Love can't happen twice. Silly me, I thought it could. But, the melodies from the old song, Echoed over and over again. The once I thought were fading away. Started evading my mind, making me weak Everytime, I wanted to make a move. It would play in my mind. The mindful melodies, just wouldn't leave me.
