I remember it all, because I saw it all. //capti

I remember it all, because I saw it all.

//caption// It had been sunny the entire day.
Too humid and too warm.
I couldn't have expected this rain soaked earth's smell, standing in my verandah at noon.
But, I saw the heavy downpour and I remember the lightnings, the thunders, the violently shaking branches of trees and the desperate struggle of those small leaves to remain on those branches.
I remember it all, because I saw it all.
From my window, the window that let me watch the crows and sparrows struggle to keep their frail wings, moving in motion to the cruel and zig zag ways of the rain drops.
I etch your name, mingled with an almost delusional and feverish forever, in the steam of my window glass.
The steam lets me see a false reality that I crave but cannot carve.
I remember it all, because I saw it all.
