A journey, that it takes me to, Crossing the elegance of words, Witnessing the array of verbs, Trailing behind the diverse sequence of rhymes, Or the ballads, or just the hymns. A destination, that I reach, Filled with hangovers of the journey, in brief. A journey, where I met, the distinct characters with traits, May be good; may be bad; Where emotions find a solace, In the rhythm, a poet portrays. It's a journey, of flipping the pages, To discover the writer, within the character, And a reader within own self. A book is a treasure, Which every reader, Wishes to harbour.
