Why didnt you speak? Sleepy you were and so I was,

Why didnt you speak?
Sleepy you were and so I was,
Your eyelids slipped as mine drooped in sleep,
Watching, admiring the beauty that you are!

Sadness it is at times,
Occurs to me now like before,
Happiness on the other side,
Like rain and shine on the roses of life.

Giggles galore,
I sit and admire for more,
Nestled within those eyes,
I see a world of love and life.

What does complexion have to do?
When the heart is the real beauty, so true!
For mine to fall for your grace,
Not just a happening of haste.

Never did I know, you were the prequel,
Of the equal soul to come into my world,
Sure God has his ways of revealing his plan,
Like you stepping into mine.
I would sit it awe till you are alive...
