Where rituals are prioritized first, To carry out any pious occasion. Folklores teach the morals of survival, When passed on, from generation to generation. Where hymns of the battles, Are sung with pride. How tough it was to gain the freedom, Is always made to realise. Where holiness of the rivers, Flowing through hills and dales, Is worshipped and revered, With absolute belief and faith. Where the mountains are carved to monuments, Endowing an astonishing heritage. Where endurance has a sparkle, When lived with pleasure and grace. Where soil has felt the sacrifices, Where sky crowns as a sheer victory, Where life equals to embracing the togetherness, That’s India – my dignity, my country. Happy independence day, folks.
