MY SON

My son!
I love you the way you are.
You are different but at par.
You are your mother's dream,
Father's love crystallised into a human form.

I love the way
You communicate with me
And the rest of the world.
You never need
A language to express yourself.
Your gestures and body language tell it all.
You are very true to yourself and others
And there is hardly any difference between
The man in you, inside and outside.

You may not be learning first.
You may be lacking in communication skills
May not be a go-getter,
But you are close to nature
Close to all that is true and pure
Humane and beautiful in this world
Where people remain under the mask
Harvest negativity in all its form and texture
Make life hell for themselves and others.

You are the pupil of my eyes,
You are, in the heart of my heart
A part of me and my soul
You are God's greatest gift and
My paradise on earth.
I understand you
You understand me
Together we will work for a better tomorrow
And that day is not far away
When you will walk hand in hand with others.
