Family Tree I feel this extreme joy and pride everytime I'm reminded-- "You resemble your mother!" As if that was the only legacy I carried by birth. I inherited, her sharp nose, her silky black hair, her dark eyes and darker circles, her hands with boney fingers, her aesthetic feet and a bit of Papa's temperament. Slowly I saw her rusting away for her family or maybe she was passing herself onto me. We switched roles in many realms but I realised I could never play a martyr that she always was.
