I shiver as I pour these words on paper The words

I shiver as I pour these words on paper
The words of the epitaph of humanity.
I look at the walls of my locked room
Confused whether to seek forgiveness or die of shame.
The wings catched fire
When the bird had to glide
The soul swallowed pain
When it had to liberate
At the place where one tends to be close
To the mightiest of all the Lord of two worlds
I am distressed to conclude that they crushed the petals
Of the most innocent flower that we possessed
Darling we are here with our heads down
Drowning in the ocean of our sins
I assure you justice at the earliest of dawn
After the faces of the guilty meet twilight. #justiceforasifa #poem #poetry #nojoto #inhumane
