#SexualHarassment at workplace is a serious issue

#SexualHarassment at workplace is a serious issue no matter who the victim is and companies take strict actions to prevent it.

Yet it's awareness is not Gender Neutral.

In most of the Emailer, Posters or Circulars, Men are portrayed as guilty while women are depicted as a victim.

It is demeaning on the part for both Men and Women.

Men are demeaned, women feel like a helpless victim, unsafe from all men thus creating harmful stereotypes.

The number of men harassing women might be comparatively large but in a society which is aware and respects LGBTQ rights and #genderequality, these Sexual Harassment posters should also depict gender neutrality.

We must be aware of what image we are creating subconsciously in the minds of people.

The message should be loud and clear. No tolerance for sexual harassment, no matter the gender.

1. Use stick figures or gender-neutral images in the creatives.
2. Involve people from all genders to participate in the awareness program. Don't involve men just to warn them. Teach them about it. Men will be more aware this way.
3. Stop Generalization.
