Waking up I wake up I wake upset I open my eyes I open them wide I try and smile I try and try But all I do is sigh I can only wonder why I try not to mind I try but I find It's some sort of sign It's taking all my time I look for some hope I look but I can't cope It a tightening rope This has to be a joke It's like a disease It's hard to breathe I wish it would cease I wish so much, please I don't think I'm okay It's not only today I don't want it to stain But it wants to remain I try and relax But it's behind my back Pushing me to the max Keeping me off track Close my eyes, pretend Close them, count to ten Maybe sleeping again Will soon be the end ©Schizology Waking up #Waking #Mind #poem✍🧡🧡💛
